Things are going really well around here. Ty is slowly figuring out his days and nights. He started the first night home by being up for three hours in the middle of the night, then two hours the next night, and then 20 minutes the next. GREAT progress! Unfortunately, he had his first doctor's appointment on Tuesday afternoon. We spent a week at Kaiser that day. The visit with the doctor went well. He is overall very healthy, weighing in just over 17 pounds (I'm sure he's gained a pound since we've had him!). We got him all caught up on his immunizations and blood work (BRUTAL for daddy, who had to hold him during all of this). He has a routine hearing test on Monday (6/13) and we'll start a physical therapy class soon to get his legs good and strong. We also get the pleasure of collecting stool samples to make sure he doesn't have any intestinal issues. He is doing really well on soy formula and it seems like he has grown a TON since last Monday. He adores his sisters and they are great at cheering him up when he fusses. The sisters would love to spend every moment of the day making him smile. Ty doesn't seem bothered a bit by the dog and even tolerates a few licks here and there. The dog, however, definitely feels a little left out and knows that a major change has occurred.
We still can't believe that God has chosen us to be Misgana's parents. He is such a joy. He is very mellow, full of smiles, and seems to be bonding well. While babies necessitate a lot more work when it comes to things like getting out of the house, the transition has gone really well and we couldn't be happier.

KG is an amazing second mommy to Ty. She has been such a HUGE help to us! Don't know how I ever had babies without a 10-year-old around to help!

An awesome gift from some AMAZING friends.

No longer an empty chair!

Meeting the wusha. They are already great friends. Jake is feeling a little left out, but loves the newest family member as much as the rest of us.
Welcome home, Ty! So glad you are all together now. :)
